EDLD 5363 Web Conference Reflection: July 1, 2012

The July 1 conference was by far the most informative conference for me. There were many questions concerning what should be turned in during weeks 3, 4, and 5. There were also questions concerning IA’s and grading. Dr. Abernathy made it clear that all final decisions for the course belonged to her. That was reassuring to me. I found it very encouraging that her goal is for everyone taking the course to gain an understanding of multimedia concepts and be successful in the class. She wants to make sure that we feel we have accomplished something and be able to transfer our newfound learning into our own classrooms. I plan to do just that. Even though I am teaching early elementary now, I will find ways to incorporate what I have learned into my class.
